Staff Nurse - RGN Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse - RGN to join our team at Bethany Lodge, a residential home in Dymchurch, Kent. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to young adults with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and implement care plans to meet the physical and emotional needs of residents, in line with NMC guidelines and current legislation.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to formulate care plans and utilise appropriate assessments.
  • Administer medication within the guidelines and framework of the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation, including patient notes and care plans.
  • Work autonomously to provide a safe and specialised service to residents.

Requirements:

  • Current NMC Pin registration (RGN)
  • Legal right to work in the U.K.
  • Compliance with PEG, Catheter, diabetes management
  • Understanding of physical and learning disabilities, patient deterioration, Epilepsy, or willingness to learn
  • Proficient in documentation and care planning and medication
  • Working knowledge of manual handling, DOLs and MCA, dysphagia. Good organisational and leadership skills.
