About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our team at Bethany Lodge, a residential home in Dymchurch, Kent. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young adults with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and implement care plans to meet the physical and emotional needs of residents, in line with NMC guidelines and current legislation.
  • Work collaboratively with the clinical and non-clinical team to ensure high standards of care and administration.
  • Administer medication within the guidelines and framework of the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation and patient notes.
  • Work autonomously to provide a safe and specialized service to residents.
Requirements
  • A current NMC Pin registration (RGN)
  • A legal right to work in the U.K.
  • Compliance in PEG, Catheter, diabetes management
  • An understanding of physical and learning disabilities, patient deterioration, Epilepsy, or willingness to learn
  • Proficient in documentation and care planning and medication
  • Working knowledge of manual handling, DOLs and MCA, dysphagia. Good organisational and leadership skills.
