We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse - RGN to join our team at Bethany Lodge, a residential home in Dymchurch, Kent. As a Staff Nurse - RGN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to young adults with disabilities, promoting independence and maintaining a high standard of physical and mental wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out procedures for assessment of residents' needs and ensure care plans are implemented and monitored, in line with NMC guidelines and current legislation.
  • Work as part of the clinical and non-clinical team, leading when required, and ensuring high standards of accuracy in all clinical administration and record keeping.
  • Participate in the multidisciplinary team, formulating care plans and utilizing appropriate assessments.
  • Administer medicine within the guidelines and framework of the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
  • Maintain and contribute to the standards of professional care, ethics, policies, and procedures.
Requirements:
  • A current NMC Pin registration (RGN)
  • A legal right to work in the U.K.
  • Compliance in PEG, Catheter, diabetes management
  • An understanding of physical and learning disabilities, patient deterioration, Epilepsy, or willingness to learn
  • Proficient in documentation and care planning and medication
  • Working knowledge of manual handling, DOLs, and MCA, dysphagia. Good organisational and leadership skills.
  • Understanding of Care Home procedures and policies.
