As a Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in promoting independence and maintaining a high standard of physical and mental wellbeing for our residents. You will work collaboratively with the clinical and non-clinical team to ensure high-quality care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out procedures for assessment of residents' needs and ensure care plans are implemented and monitored.
- Work as part of the clinical and non-clinical team, leading when required, and ensuring high standards of accuracy in all clinical administration and record keeping.
- Participate in the multidisciplinary team, formulating care plans and utilizing appropriate assessments.
- Administer medicine within the guidelines and framework of the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
- Maintain and contribute to the standards of professional care, ethics, policies, and procedures.
Requirements:
- A current NMC Pin registration (RGN)
- A legal right to work in the U.K.
- Compliance in PEG, Catheter, diabetes management
- An understanding of physical and learning disabilities, patient deterioration, Epilepsy, or willingness to learn
- Proficient in documentation and care planning and medication
- Working knowledge of manual handling, DOLs, and MCA, dysphagia. Good organisational and leadership skills.
- Understanding of Care Home procedures and policies.
