About the Role:
- Leadership and Direction: Provide leadership and direction to staff, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
- Resident Care: Oversee the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care, including medication administration and adherence to care plans.
- Operations Management: Collaborate with the Manager to maintain regulatory compliance and manage the day-to-day operations of the care home facility.
- Communication and Collaboration: Liaise with residents, families, and stakeholders, addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
- Quality and Safety: Maintain accurate records and foster continuous improvement by regularly evaluating care and implementing changes.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 4 or 5 in Leadership & Management or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, social work, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in a management role within the healthcare or residential care industry.
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills, compassionate and empathetic approach to resident care.
- Ability to manage resources effectively and make informed decisions to optimise operational performance.
- Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends.
- Must be a UK resident or have settled status.
