About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to manage our retirement leasehold scheme, working 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 9am to 1pm.

The scheme comprises of 41 Category II retirement leasehold and 5 Socially Rented flats for individuals over the age of 60 years, including communal gardens and a communal lounge.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining Community Care Alarm System records, ensuring prompt notification of any changes, and attending to safety measures, including fire protection arrangements.

Accommodation is included with this role.

We encourage a community atmosphere and the successful candidate will be responsible for providing information to residents on local services and community activities, building close links with agencies providing services for the over 60's in the area.

We have guest accommodation on site for visitors and the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the use of this and the common room and summerhouse.

Maintenance of lifeline equipment, fire alarm system, emergency lights, and firefighting equipment is also a key responsibility.

Supervision of gardening and cleaning contractors will be required.

Liaising with the local Fire Prevention Officer to ensure fire prevention measures are communicated to residents and fire drills are conducted as necessary, and completing Health & Safety inspections each month.
