Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Portfolio Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, and meeting project objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a detailed assessment of current and future operational requirements, including personnel, vehicles, and facilities.
- Evaluate the condition and suitability of a site that is no longer fit for purpose, providing cost-benefit analysis for refurbishment, rebuilding, or relocation options.
- Develop project plans with indicative timeframes, costs, and resource requirements to inform strategic decision-making.
- Direct a team of Project Managers and Business Analysts to support the delivery of a comprehensive recommendations report.
- Expertise in needs assessment, resource allocation, and the management of large-scale refurbishments and new builds.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to translate operational needs into comprehensive project requirements.
- Excellent report writing and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership.
- MSP/Prince2 or equivalent Programme Management qualification.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in a data management or IT-related field.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
