Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AI Portfolio and Project Management Lead to join our team at Pfizer, S.A. de C.V. This role will be responsible for defining and managing global processes in support of the Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics organization, including portfolio governance, resource management, solution governance, and organizational ways of working.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and lead standardized portfolio and project management processes and platforms to manage complex demand across the organization.
  • Lead strategic initiatives and special projects in partnership with the leadership team.
  • Develop and implement AI and data-driven processes to optimize project delivery.
  • Establish and uphold organizational standards for project delivery methods, including Agile, waterfall, and hybrid approaches.
  • Manage resourcing and capacity across teams, ensuring resources are aligned to top priority projects and identifying opportunities for improvement in cost control and efficiency.
  • Centralize responsibility for the managed community of contracted project managers and business analysts, ensuring the most cost-effective and optimized staffing model for the AI and Data Analytics team.
  • Interpret divisional strategy and define key performance metrics that align to the strategic goals of the organization.
  • Consolidate and oversee all projects and commitments, including status, financials, interdependencies, issues, and risks, and prepare portfolio dashboards, metrics, and reports, and investment recommendations.
  • Develop and deliver monthly dashboards to senior leadership that demonstrate performance against the strategy, consolidate all metrics by tower in a consumable format fit for the audience, and gain new insights.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, Information Management, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of demonstrated progressive experience as an IT leader.
  • Demonstrated understanding and enterprise-scale project and portfolio management skills.
  • Experience coaching and mentoring other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes.
  • Understanding of operating model and governance processes in large digital organizations.
  • Excellent skills in analysis, critical thinking, and planning, oral and written communication, consensus building, facilitation, and negotiation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP certification.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • AI and Data Analytics background, certifications.
