We are seeking an exceptional leader to develop and lead our Clinical Governance strategy across our award-winning charity. As a Clinical Governance Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive clinical governance strategy that ensures the highest standards of care and support for our service users.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and forward-thinking organization that is passionate about delivering exceptional care and support. As a Clinical Governance Director, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing a clinical governance strategy that aligns with our organizational goals and objectives
  • Leading a team of clinical governance professionals to deliver high-quality care and support
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to our Executive Team and Board of Trustees on clinical governance matters
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including CQC and CI regulations
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver positive outcomes for our service users
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of up to £85k plus £5k car allowance per annum, as well as a range of benefits, including a contributory pension scheme, retail discounts, holiday discounts, cycle to work scheme, and travel discounts through our benefits app. You will also have the opportunity to work from home or a flexible location, with occasional UK travel required.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant health, allied health, or social work professional qualification (such as nursing, occupational therapy, speech and language, social worker)
  • A current professional registration (such as NMC, HCPC)
  • Experience operating effectively at Executive Level with a proven ability to plan strategically
  • Understanding of clinical governance, risk management, safeguarding, and quality assurance as it applies in Social Care
  • Depth of experience in social care and independent living
  • Excellent breadth and depth of knowledge of personalisation and inclusion agendas
