The Financial Insights Analyst position is crucial for the effective operation of the Finance Business Partnering team. This role plays a significant part in facilitating the collaboration with the Enterprise function, alongside responsibilities for month-end accounting, reporting, and expense reconciliation within the Vitality Services Company. Ideal candidates will possess a proactive mindset, a strong inclination towards process simplification, automation, and digital transformation, along with a genuine interest in the Business Partnering domain.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation of functional expense prepayments, accruals, and reallocations. Administrative tasks related to systems to ensure efficient expense processing. Support the Senior Finance Analyst and Senior Business Partner in reporting, forecasting, and budgeting tasks. Assist with ad-hoc queries and analytical requests from the Senior Finance Analyst and Senior Business Partner. Conduct Fixed Asset accounting calculations and manage IFRS16 lease accounting. Develop monthly expense performance presentations and RMAR (quarterly regulatory form). Execute monthly tasks including balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany accounts review, and monthly expense recharges, reconciliations, and invoicing.Essential Qualifications:
Relevant experience in a finance role with a solid understanding of month-end procedures. Comprehensive knowledge of core accounting principles (debits/credits, prepayments, accruals). Strong communication skills to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. Excellent time-management and organizational abilities to ensure efficient task completion. Demonstrated proactive approach and capacity to operate in a fast-paced environment. Highly analytical with a keen attention to detail and a focus on process improvement. Confidence to challenge existing practices and propose enhancements. Proficient in Excel, capable of managing data and performing analysis using various formulas and tools (e.g., Pivot Tables, Vlookups, SumIfs).
