We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team at learndirect Limited. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting data-driven decision-making by analyzing and interpreting data from various sources.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis and Interpretation
- Gather, clean, and prepare data from various sources to ensure data quality and accuracy.
- Manage and maintain datasets in Google BigQuery and Power BI, optimizing queries and storage for performance and cost-efficiency.
- Business Intelligence and Reporting
- Develop, design, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI that effectively communicate key metrics and insights to stakeholders.
- Utilize Power BI to create compelling data visualizations that provide actionable insights and facilitate decision-making.
- Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, finance, IT, and operational teams, to understand their data needs and provide insights.
- Assist in automating data retrieval and reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
- Professional Development
- Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices for data management, analysis, and security.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies.
Requirements
- Proven experience designing, implementing, and managing data models in Power BI.
- Proficiency in using Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
- Understanding of SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Familiarity with data cleaning and transformation techniques.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field - desirable.
