About the Role

MARS Recruitment is seeking a skilled 2nd Line IT Support Technician to join our client's team in a stunning rural office location. As a key member of the technical support team, you will provide expert assistance to users across various technologies, including cutting-edge hardware, software, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 2nd Line Support to a diverse group of onsite and off-site users, troubleshooting desktop, telephony, network, and printing errors.
  • Investigate software issues and carry out daily checks to ensure compliance with Cyber Essential Plus and ISO 27001 policies.
  • Support and install hardware, software, and mobile devices, with opportunities to administer servers and gain insight into infrastructure-based technology.
Requirements
  • Self-motivated, conscientious, methodical, and organized individual with excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to liaise with clients at all levels of a business.
  • Proficiency in Windows 10, MS Server 2019/2022, MS Office 365, Active Directory/Entra ID & Group Policy administration, IP networking & telephony, DNS, DHCP, Server, network, and desktop hardware.
  • Experience with SCCM, Sophos AV & Encryption administration, Windows 11, Splashtop or other remote-control software, ITIL Foundation, Microsoft certifications, and CompTIA A+.
