Contract Manager Role in Building Services

We are seeking a skilled Contract Manager to join our team at RF Recruitment Consultancy LTD. As a key member of our In House Estates team, you will be responsible for managing and improving hard services contracts for the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and draft contracts for various services, including Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning, lifts, water hygiene, electrical and gas services, pressurised systems, emergency lighting, BMS, fire alarms and access control.
  • Negotiate terms and procure contracts.
  • Develop Business Intelligence (BI) Dashboard performance analysis of contract and inhouse performance.
  • Ensure compliance within contract terms.
  • Conduct inspections and audits.
  • Identify and address potential risks.
  • Financial Management, including Cost estimation and driving value for money.
  • Develop and implement decarbonisation plans to meet net zero.

Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge and experience of contract/service delivery management, involving performance management to Key Performance Indicators within an Estates/FM environment.
  • Experience of budget management.
  • Experience of developing processes to deliver improved service from contractors.
  • Knowledge of in the procurement of public sector contracts.
  • Experience of designing and managing projects and report writing and analysis.
  • Degree educated is preferable.
  • CIPFA Chartered Institute of Public Finance & Accountancy, Contract Management (this is desirable, though not essential).
