Position: Senior Residential Support Practitioner

Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)

About Us:
Pink Tile Education is a progressive and innovative therapeutic organization dedicated to supporting children. We operate a series of residential facilities catering to young individuals aged 5-16 who require specialized support due to various social, emotional, and mental health challenges.

Role Overview:
We are seeking dedicated Residential Support Practitioners who are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of children and young people. The ideal candidates will:
  • Demonstrate a genuine commitment to fostering the growth and aspirations of children.
  • Enjoy engaging with young individuals and creating a fun, supportive environment.
  • Assist in the daily management and operations of the residential home, including team leadership and supervision.
  • Share responsibility for the safety and well-being of all residents and visitors.
  • Ensure the safeguarding and protection of all children in our care.
  • Collaborate with management to maintain compliance with relevant regulations and provide high-quality care and education.
  • Contribute to the home's improvement initiatives and actively enhance the therapeutic support provided.
  • Manage resources effectively, including financial processes.
  • Support colleagues in addressing the emotional, educational, and social needs of the children.
  • Build positive relationships and maintain effective communication with team members and external partners.

Qualifications:
Candidates should possess:
  • Experience in a residential care setting and familiarity with SEMH educational environments.
  • A strong understanding of the challenges faced by children in care and the ability to promote their development.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
  • A full clean driving license is preferred.
  • An awareness of how personal behavior can influence young individuals.
