We are in search of a passionate and committed Mathematics Educator to join our client's vibrant teaching team on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust academic foundation in mathematics and a sincere enthusiasm for teaching.

Your responsibilities will include delivering stimulating and rigorous lessons to learners from Year 9 to Year 13, instilling a passion for mathematics and assisting each student in achieving their utmost potential.

  • Deliver high-quality, inspiring lessons that empower and motivate all students to realize their potential.
  • Contribute to the operations of the Mathematics Department, under the guidance of the Head of Department.
  • Prepare academic reports to communicate progress to parents and students.
  • Serve as a role model for students, exemplifying the institution's values and maintaining those standards in the classroom.
  • Design assessments and prepare students for public examinations, following the direction of the Head of Department.
  • Uphold high standards of behavior and conduct, recognizing and documenting merits and academic concerns as necessary.
  • Provide a clear structure for lessons to ensure appropriate pacing, differentiation, and engagement for all students.
  • Ensure a safe and conducive learning environment for all students.
  • Inspire confidence in students through constructive feedback and support to elevate educational standards and aspirations.

Qualifications required include:

  • A degree in Mathematics or a related discipline.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development.
