Swimming Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Swimming Teacher/Lifeguard to join our team at Kings Camps. As a Swim Teacher/Lifeguard, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and safe swimming lessons to children aged 5-17, while ensuring their water confidence and swimming techniques are improved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality swimming lessons to mixed ability groups, focusing on building water confidence and improving swimming techniques.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children during swimming sessions, supervising them during lunch breaks and participating in swimming activities.
- Oversee the safe use of equipment and promptly record any incidents.
- Collaborate with the Camp Manager and other team members to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for children.
Requirements:
- 12 months experience as a swim teacher.
- Up-to-date SEQ Level 2 or STA Level 2 certification.
- Current Lifeguard Qualification: National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or National Rescue Award to Swimming Teachers and Coach (NRASTC).
- 6 months experience working with 5-17-year-olds.
- Demonstrated experience in coaching or mentoring younger individuals.
- Collaborative attitude, comfortable with rotating duties and forming positive relationships with children and staff.
