Clinical Support Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Support Assistant to join our team at St Margaret's Somerset Hospice. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing person-centered support, care, and treatment to patients, their families, and carers across the community.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and manage non-complex symptoms, including pain, shortness of breath, and mobility issues.
- Work collaboratively with qualified practitioners to deliver high-quality care and support.
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of individual patient programs and group activities.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients, families, and carers.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of patient care and progress.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- English and Maths to GCSE grade A-C (or equivalent).
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-professional team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
