Position Overview:

As a Clinical Assessment Nurse, your primary responsibility will be to evaluate individuals and the impact of their disabilities or health conditions on their professional lives. Utilizing your clinical knowledge, you will attentively gather each person's medical history before conducting a thorough physical examination. Subsequently, you will generate clear and precise reports for the relevant authorities to assist in determining each individual's eligibility for benefits.

This role entails engaging with individuals both in person and through virtual means. Regardless of the medium, you will approach each interaction with sensitivity and compassion, ensuring that you ask pertinent questions while adhering to best practice standards.

You can be assured that you will have ample time to conduct accurate assessments and provide your full attention to each individual. Although you will operate independently, you will be part of a broader multi-disciplinary team, with support readily available.

Candidate Requirements:

  • NMC Level 1 Registered Nurse with a minimum of 12 months diverse clinical experience within the last 5 years.
  • Experience working with adults in various clinical settings.
  • NMC registration with proof of Continuous Professional Development.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of adapting to a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient IT skills and experience with various software applications.
  • Self-aware and dedicated to professional growth.
  • Integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Motivated to deliver quality customer service, demonstrating empathy and respect during assessments.
  • Able to work independently to meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Willing to collaborate effectively as a reliable team member.
