We are looking for a dedicated Child Play Facilitator to become a vital part of our outpatient team at London Bridge Hospital. This esteemed institution is committed to delivering exceptional healthcare services for women and children. In your role as a Child Play Facilitator, you will be tasked with evaluating and creating engaging play initiatives for young patients within the hospital environment. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team will be essential to ensure that the unique needs of each child are effectively addressed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement play programs tailored to the developmental needs of children and adolescents.
  • Work alongside healthcare professionals to support the emotional and psychological well-being of young patients.
  • Utilize best practices in therapeutic play for children aged 0-17.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a Healthcare Play Specialism Degree or a Diploma in Specialised Play for Sick Children and Young People.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a clinical setting.
  • Registered with HPSET.
