About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Active Care Group, a pioneering national provider of complex care services. As a key member of our team, you will work with clients with a wide range of neurological conditions, including acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, and neurological degenerative conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist knowledge and expertise to inform sound clinical judgments for complex neurological rehabilitation planning.
  • Develop and implement bespoke rehabilitation programs for clients, working in collaboration with the inter-disciplinary team.
  • Provide line management support and supervision to team members, ensuring high-quality care and service delivery.
  • Ensure that team issues and concerns are identified and escalated in a timely manner, maintaining a safe and supportive work environment.
  • Act as an autonomous practitioner, working unsupervised and using initiative to deliver high-quality care and services.
  • Take responsibility for defined areas of clinical specialism, developing advanced skills and sharing knowledge and skills with others through mentorship, training, and joint sessions.
  • Be accountable for own professional actions and recognize own professional boundaries, seeking advice as appropriate.
  • Work within defined departmental and national protocols/policies and professional code of conduct to guarantee quality and safety.

Requirements

  • A recognized qualification as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years post-graduate experience.
  • Current registration with HCPC as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience of working within a neurological care and rehabilitation setting.
