Job Title: Occupational Therapist - Neurology Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Neural Pathways. As a Neurology Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to clients with complex neurological conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist knowledge to inform sound clinical judgments for complex neurological rehabilitation planning.
- Undertake initial client assessments that represent the inter-disciplinary team contribution.
- Provide line management support and supervision to team members from a clinical and/or organisational perspective.
- Provide specialist differential diagnosis, clinical advice, and therapy/management plans to clients with neurological impairments.
- Take responsibility for defined areas of clinical specialism, developing advanced skills and sharing knowledge and skills with others via mentorship, training, and joint sessions.
- Work within defined departmental and national protocols/policies and professional code of conduct to guarantee quality and safety.
- Be professionally and legally responsible and accountable for the quality of own work and submit performance data as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years post-graduate experience.
- Experience of working within a Neurological Care and Rehabilitation setting.
