Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our team within the Community Treatment Team in Gateshead East. The successful candidate will have a keen interest in working with adults with mental health conditions and will be responsible for providing assessments and interventions in the community.
Main Responsibilities:- Assess and manage a caseload of service users with complex Occupational Therapy needs.
- Deliver evidence-based Occupational therapy interventions.
- Work as a member of the Multi-disciplinary Team to ensure high-quality individualized care is delivered.
- Recognized Occupational therapy degree/qualification.
- HCPC Registration.
- Evidence of post-registration training in OT interventions relevant to the post.
- Member of Royal College of Occupational Therapy.
- Proven track record of post-registration clinical experience relevant to the post.
- Ability to manage a clinical caseload in a flexible manner.
- Awareness and understanding of professional accountability, HCPC and RCOT standards.
- Experience of providing Occupational Therapy services.
