Position Summary:

We are seeking a Senior IT Specialist to contribute to our esteemed client’s operations.

This role encompasses various IT domains, including servers, storage, databases, security tools, and audio-visual systems, with a primary focus on storage and database engineering. Proficiency with Dell products is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage incidents until resolution
  • Perform routine maintenance to ensure systems meet availability and performance standards
  • Conduct storage monitoring
  • Upgrade hardware, firmware, and software under Change control protocols
  • Install and organize hardware
  • Patch network connections

Working Conditions:

  • Shift work following a 2 x 12.5-hour day shift, 2 x 12.5-hour night shift, and 6 rest days pattern
  • Part of a shift team that includes a Network specialist, an Infrastructure specialist, and a Storage, Database, and Security Tooling specialist
  • Five shift teams operate in total

Qualifications:

  • Active SC Clearance with eligibility for DV Clearance
  • Extensive experience as a Storage Engineer with a strong understanding of Dell EMC products (minimum of 4 years preferred)
  • Hands-on expertise in other IT areas, including servers, networks, security tools, and audio-visual equipment
  • ITIL 4 certification with experience in implementing system modifications through Change control
  • Strong desire and ability to acquire new IT skills
  • Effective stakeholder management capabilities
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical troubleshooting skills
