Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior IT Specialist to join our team, focusing on storage and database engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage incidents from identification to resolution.
  • Perform routine maintenance to ensure systems maintain optimal availability and performance.
  • Conduct storage monitoring to preemptively address potential issues.
  • Upgrade hardware, firmware, and software in accordance with Change control protocols.
  • Install and configure hardware, including racking and cabling.
  • Patch network connections as required.

Working Conditions:

  • Engage in shift work, following a structured pattern of day and night shifts.
  • Collaborate within a shift team that includes specialists in networking, infrastructure, and storage/database/security tooling.
  • Participate in a total of five shift teams.

Qualifications:

  • Active SC Clearance and eligibility for DV Clearance are mandatory.
  • Proven experience as a Storage Engineer with a strong understanding of Dell EMC products (minimum of 4 years preferred).
  • Hands-on experience across various IT domains, including servers, networks, and security tools.
  • ITIL 4 certification with experience in implementing system modifications through Change control.
  • Strong motivation and capability to acquire new IT skills.
  • Effective stakeholder management skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • A robust analytical approach to troubleshooting.
