About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Specialist to join our team at Stealth iT Consulting. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support for our clients' storage and database systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide incident management and resolution services for storage and database-related issues
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system performance and availability
  • Monitor storage systems and identify potential issues before they become major problems
  • Upgrade hardware, firmware, and software under change control
  • Rack and cable hardware as needed
  • Patch network connections to ensure secure and reliable data transfer
Working Conditions
  • Shift work, following a 2 x 12.5-hour day shifts, 2 x 12.5-night shifts, and 6 rest days pattern
  • Located at a client site, with opportunities for remote work
  • Member of a shift team containing one Network specialist, one Infrastructure specialist, and one Storage, Database, and Security Tooling specialist
  • Collaborate with a team of five shift teams to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements
  • Active SC Clearance and eligibility for DV Clearance
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Storage Engineer, with expertise in Dell EMC products
  • Hands-on experience in other areas of IT, such as servers, networks, security tools, and audio visual equipment
  • ITIL 4 qualified, with experience in implementing system modifications via change control
  • Ability to learn new IT skills and adapt to changing technologies
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong analytical troubleshooting approach
