Position Overview

Job Title: Oncology Staff Nurse

As a member of our dedicated team, you will have the opportunity to work flexible shifts across various healthcare settings, allowing you to enhance your professional skills while providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting thorough clinical assessments and monitoring of patient conditions, ensuring timely escalation of any concerns.
  • Adhering to established protocols for the safe use of intravenous and subcutaneous devices, as well as enteral feeding systems.
  • Facilitating effective communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team, while being sensitive to potential barriers to understanding.
  • Managing the administration and secure handling of medications in accordance with organizational policies.

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6 months of paid experience in an oncology ward within the last 3 years.
  • Compliance with NMC Professional Registration and ongoing engagement with current nursing practices.
