At Kent County Council, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a National Transfer Scheme Business Support Officer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the National Transfer Scheme (NTS) in Kent, working closely with the NTS Co-ordinator to ensure the timely and safe transfer of unaccompanied asylum-seeking children from the care of Kent County Council to other local authorities.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent IT and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced office environment. They will also be confident in dealing with professionals and members of the public on the telephone, and will be required to handle highly sensitive and confidential information.

The role will involve multi-tasking and a good eye for detail, with a focus on ensuring the effective functioning of the NTS. The successful candidate will be a team player, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
