Business Support Officer for National Transfer Scheme

Role Overview
The Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children's Service within Kent County Council is dedicated to providing comprehensive support for vulnerable children. We are currently seeking a full-time, permanent Business Support Officer to enhance our dynamic and fast-paced environment.
This role is pivotal in facilitating the transfer of unaccompanied asylum-seeking children from Kent County Council to other local authorities under the National Transfer Scheme (NTS). You will collaborate closely with the NTS Coordinator to ensure the effective operation of the NTS in Kent, playing an active role in its daily management.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional IT capabilities and problem-solving skills, along with the confidence to engage with professionals and the public over the phone. Handling sensitive and confidential information will be a key aspect of this position.
This role presents a stimulating and varied opportunity that demands multitasking abilities and a keen attention to detail while working in a high-pressure office setting.
