Role Overview:

As a Technical Manager within BES Asset Reliability, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of diverse projects. This involves detailed specification and design of instrumentation and monitoring systems, providing technical training to staff, and ensuring compliance with quality procedures.

Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting the Sales Teams in crafting technical proposals and bids, which may involve creating initial technical designs for pricing or reviewing their submissions. Supporting the Delivery team to guarantee that installation and testing engineers and technicians receive adequate training. Collaborating with the Software team as necessary. Should any issues arise during installation or operation, you will lead the investigation and resolution efforts. Offering guidance to clients based on the monitoring data collected, addressing their inquiries, and enhancing their understanding of the data and information provided. Occasionally visiting client sites to deliver the exceptional customer service that our team is known for, while representing our esteemed company professionally.

Qualifications:

An Engineering degree and Chartered status or equivalent. Extensive experience with structural monitoring systems. Significant expertise in sensors and instrumentation. Proficient in Data Acquisition systems and signals. Ability to establish and troubleshoot networks, PCs, and DAQs. Capability to read and design electrical schematics. CSCS Card. BSSM certification. Valid Driving license.
