Role Overview:

As the Technical Manager for BES Asset Reliability, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our diverse projects. This includes overseeing the specification and design of instrumentation and monitoring systems, providing technical training to staff, and ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with Sales Teams to prepare technical proposals and bids, including initial designs for pricing or reviewing existing proposals.
  • Supporting the Delivery team to ensure installation and testing engineers receive appropriate training.
  • Coordinating with the Software team to address any issues identified during installation or operational phases.
  • Offering expert advice to clients based on collected monitoring data to enhance their understanding and utilization of the information provided.
  • Occasionally visiting client sites to deliver the high level of customer service that reflects our company's values.

Qualifications Required:

  • An Engineering degree and Chartered status or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience with structural monitoring systems.
  • Significant background in sensors and instrumentation.
  • Proficient in Data Acquisition systems and signals.
  • Capable of setting up and troubleshooting networks, PCs, and DAQs.
  • Ability to read and design electrical schematics.
  • CSCS Card.
  • BSSM certification.
  • Valid Driving license.
