Autism Support Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as an Autism Support Assistant in Southwark. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) while gaining valuable experience in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with ASD, helping them succeed academically and emotionally.
  • Run intervention sessions to boost pupils' development in key areas.
  • Encourage children to engage with classroom activities, fostering participation and inclusion.
  • Support pupils with SEMH needs, helping them regulate emotions and engage with their learning environment.
