We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Care Team Leader to join our team at Take Five Recruitment. As a Care Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of support workers and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and behaviours that challenge.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Lead shifts and ensure smooth daily operations, providing guidance, support, and supervision to a team of support workers.
- Team Development: Conduct supervisions, appraisals, and debriefs, and support the recruitment and induction of new staff to ensure they are well-prepared to deliver exceptional care.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure high-quality care planning and implementation, maintaining compliance with policies and procedures.
- Coaching and Support: Coach team members to be skilled and confident in self-organising and reflection, providing supportive and constructive feedback to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Communication and Advocacy: Provide support with communication, advocating for service users, and ensuring their needs are met both within the home and in the community.
- Personal Development: Encourage and support team members in their personal and professional development, ensuring we all grow and improve together.
- Experience: Significant experience working with individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and behaviours that challenge, with proven experience in line managing, supervising staff, or leading shifts.
- Language: Fluent English
- Driving Licence: Preferred
- Competitive Pay: £14.00 per hour, with increased rates for bank holidays.
