Job Summary

Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Duty Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality mental health services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Triaging referrals and making clinical decisions about appropriate services
  • Supporting staff with queries regarding triage, treatment, and access to secondary care
  • Working as a referral coordinator within IAPT, being the first point of contact for patients presenting with mental health problems
  • Managing triage referrals and making clinical decisions about appropriate services
  • Recognising the signs of abuse/safeguarding concerns and taking appropriate action

Person Specification
  • Professional qualification (RMN, OT, CBT, Psychology)
  • Degree or equivalent qualification/experience in delivery of mental health interventions
  • Evidence of continued professional development
  • Counsellor level 5
