About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef Manager to join our team at Chartwells - Schools. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food experiences to our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve delicious meals to the highest standards
  • Manage and motivate our culinary and catering teams to ensure excellent food and customer service
  • Oversee catering operations, including budget management and implementing action plans
  • Communicate effectively with our line manager to monitor KPIs and targets
  • Represent Chartwells - Schools and maintain a positive brand image
  • Support and train our teams to excel in their roles
  • Implement and review Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance
Requirements
  • Previous management experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Passion for great-tasting food and exceptional customer service
  • Brilliant financial acumen
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic Food Hygiene certificate
