Logistics Coordinator

Moove Europe is seeking a dedicated Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic Warehouse and Distribution team. This role is integral to our operations and focuses on ensuring the efficient management of shipments within our European Manufacturing plant.

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in orchestrating the flow of goods and materials, working closely with our third-party logistics partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the scheduling of shipments and logistics using our ERP system.
  • Assess shipping methods and costs while managing daily interactions with logistics providers.
  • Coordinate the release of shipments for processing by the Warehouse Team.
  • Organize shipments for our internal transport team.
  • Develop multi-day routing plans for our fleet covering various destinations.
  • Manage the documentation and processing of returned shipments.
  • Ensure compliance with carriage regulations while maintaining service standards.
  • Prepare and verify shipping documents for both domestic and international shipments.
  • Maintain accurate shipping and distribution records and generate reports for stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiencies.
  • Handle claims related to third-party logistics.
  • Oversee customer deliveries and process orders efficiently.
  • Conduct regular reviews of shipping reports and collaborate with internal teams.

Required Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience in domestic and global shipping within a manufacturing context.
  • Familiarity with INCOTERMS.
  • Ability to manage multiple vehicles and schedules effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • A collaborative mindset, willing to support colleagues and share knowledge.
  • An organized approach to tasks with a focus on continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in transport planning or freight forwarding.
  • Relevant qualifications in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience in people management.
