About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our East Lancashire District Nursing Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to patients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Clinical Team Leader/Team Sister in the coordination and delivery of care in line with District Nursing Strategy nationally and locally.
  • Visit patients daily in their own homes and provide high-quality nursing care to a range of patients with varying healthcare needs.
  • Provide a high standard of holistic assessment and care, including wound management, health promotion, medicines management, and end-of-life care.
  • Work contracted hours rotationally across day and night shifts, as reasonably required by the needs of the service.
Requirements
  • Professional qualification - RGN
  • Multi-disciplinary working experience
  • Experience of community working
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to the needs of the service and work independently
  • Clinical knowledge and skills
