Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our Culina Group team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of our warehouse operations, ensuring the highest levels of productivity and service quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and motivate the warehouse team to achieve and exceed productivity and service KPIs.
  • Ensure the highest possible levels of Health, Safety, and Hygiene are upheld, and relevant paperwork is completed and retained.
  • Develop and implement effective quality and compliance checks and controls to ensure operational excellence.
  • Deliver regular communication briefings to ensure all team members are aware of company and local issues.
  • Manage the Goods Inwards area to ensure efficient receipt and storage of goods.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team member skills and knowledge.
  • Carry out disciplinary and grievance interviews and investigations in line with company procedure.
  • Monitor and control sickness absence levels and implement effective return-to-work interviews.
  • Monitor and control the time and attendance system.
  • Ensure the appropriate levels of overtime and agency workers are utilized to efficiently and cost-effectively run the shift.

Requirements

  • Computer literate with knowledge of Excel.
  • Confident at dealing with people at all levels.
  • Adaptable and methodical approach to work, training, and working hours.
  • Conscientious and reliable.
  • Excellent communication skills to deliver accurate information.
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
  • Effectively prioritize workload to meet set deadlines.
  • Ability to work as part of a team or individually.
