About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse & Distribution Manager to lead our Trafford Warehouse team. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and food safety standards.
  • Manage a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Monitor inventory levels and implement systems to minimize stock discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with logistics and customer service teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Analyze operational data and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively.

Qualifications & Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience in a warehouse management role within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS).
