Job Title: Chilled Warehouse Shift Lead

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse staff, ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the chilled warehouse. This will involve coaching and developing team members, implementing process improvements, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of warehouse staff, providing coaching and development opportunities to ensure high performance and productivity.
  • Implement process improvements and maintain high standards of quality and safety in the chilled warehouse.
  • Collaborate with other teams to improve business performance and achieve operational excellence.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a warehouse management or logistics role, with a strong track record of leadership and team management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on quality and safety.
