Administrative Support Role

Brook Street NMR is partnering with HMPPS North East Regional Office to find a skilled Administrator to support their dynamic team.

Position: Part-Time Administrator
Hours: 12 per week
Rate: £11.44 per hour
Location: Newton Aycliffe Probation Office
Contract: Initially 10 months, with potential for extension

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Services Support:
    • Manage absence records, coordinate vetting processes, maintain appraisal and recognition records, update the Gift & Hospitality register, handle training administration, maintain divisional organizational charts, and support health & safety administrative tasks.
    • Process change requests, manage local information using established Probation systems, and serve as the point of contact for Quantum.
    • Handle I-Proc requests.
    • Assist with designing, developing, and maintaining computerized and manual records; collaborate with senior management to ensure consistent processes; produce core process maps for operational and corporate support processes; process and record documents related to goods and services; manage room bookings, meetings, and events; respond to telephone and in-person inquiries; administer hire car bookings; handle general office administration tasks including printing requests, circulating office notifications, and producing documentation; manage sensitive and confidential data in compliance with data protection regulations; and ensure adherence to Shared Services protocols.
  • Additional Duties:
    • Support the PS Division through a variety of administrative functions.
