Key Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Technician, you will:

  • Assist in the installation and operation of machinery, ensuring readiness for team training.
  • Diagnose and resolve breakdown issues using Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  • Conduct quality inspections on completed tasks.
  • Manage engineering inventory, ensuring accurate booking of parts against relevant jobs.
  • Address emergencies and unexpected repairs while supporting installations.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of Level 3 (City & Guilds or NVQ) in Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance.
  • At least 5 GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths and English.
  • Preferably a Level 2 food safety qualification or higher.
  • Experience with specialized equipment, such as programmable logic controllers (PLC) and servos, is advantageous.
  • Background in FMCG environments is preferred.
