Electrical Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

Elevation Recruitment Group is proud to partner with a reputable Manufacturer in the Mexborough area, seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team due to company growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine scheduled PPMs and respond promptly to equipment faults/breakdowns, completing necessary paperwork.
  • Diagnose breakdown problems and utilize Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to rectify them.
  • Fit new parts and ensure equipment is working correctly, where necessary.
  • Conduct quality inspections on jobs and utilize engineering stores efficiently.
  • Deal with emergencies, unplanned problems, and repairs, as well as supporting installations.
  • Recognize opportunities to improve health and safety policies, practices, and procedures, and propose suggestions.
  • Work with specialist equipment, such as programmable logic controllers (PLC), servos, which control production equipment.
  • Follow all site procedures, including safety, engineering, hygiene, and technical protocols.
  • Conduct duties with a Continuous Improvement mindset.
  • Perform assigned preventive maintenance tasks.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 (City & Guilds or NVQ-based) or above in Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance.
  • Ideal experience within mechanical and electrical maintenance.
  • Must have experience within a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer role previously.
  • Ideal experience within an FMCG environment, but not essential.
  • Experience with problem-solving/fault finding is essential.
  • Previous experience of fault finding on PLCs is advantageous but not essential.
