Electrical Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

Elevation Recruitment Group is proud to partner with a reputable Manufacturer in the Mexborough area to find a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine scheduled maintenance tasks and respond promptly to equipment faults and breakdowns.
  • Diagnose and rectify breakdown problems using Root Cause Analysis.
  • Carry out quality inspections and ensure equipment is working correctly.
  • Manage engineering stores and ensure all parts are booked out against relevant assets and jobs.
  • Deal with emergencies and unplanned problems, as well as supporting installations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve health and safety policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Work with specialist equipment, including programmable logic controllers (PLC), servos, and other production equipment.
  • Follow all site procedures, including safety, engineering, hygiene, and technical protocols.
  • Conduct duties with a Continuous Improvement mindset.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 (City & Guilds or NVQ-based) or above in Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance.
  • Experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance, preferably in a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer role.
  • Problem-solving and fault-finding skills are essential.
  • Previous experience with PLC fault finding is advantageous but not essential.
