About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Trainee Commercial Estimator to join our successful team based in Hinkley. As a Trainee Commercial Estimator, you will have the opportunity to work on our EDF Project Controls Resource Framework, where you will be involved in the exciting challenge of defueling and decommissioning the AGR nuclear power station.

This role will be site-based with the option for dynamic and hybrid working. You will have the chance to work on a project that is shaping the future of the UK's infrastructure ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop high-level numeracy and analytical skills, with experience across the project and programme lifecycle.
  2. Apply previous cost/financial experience or education to drive project controls/cost engineering capability.
  3. Combine technical and commercial office skills with site project delivery expertise.
  4. Meet the eligibility criteria for CTC level Security Clearance (3 years residency in the UK).
  5. Champion Sustainability, Safety, Health, and Environment by prioritizing personal safety and wellbeing, and contributing to the environment and communities' growth.
