Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Security Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our security team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional security services to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing demanding security contracts, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a recognized qualification in security management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the security team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional security services to clients.
- Liaise with clients to ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met and exceeded.
- Lead and motivate the security team, ensuring they are aware of and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Ensure all issues and incidents are dealt with and reported on in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage the administration and welfare of the security team, including induction and continuation training, probation, and setting objectives during annual appraisals.
- Develop and implement effective security strategies to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of clients and staff.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services and achieve business objectives.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the security industry.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in managing a prestigious and highly demanding contract.
- Recognized qualification in security management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrable experience in people management.
- Employment law knowledge.
- Valid SIA DS front-line licence.
- Valid SIA CCTV licence.
- Excellent knowledge of operational security software applications.
- Ability to work under pressure and make effective decisions.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual.
- Resilient and calm under pressure.
- Physically able to conduct all responsibilities associated with the role.
