Crew Management Officer

P&S Personnel is excited to announce an opportunity for a Crew Management Officer to become an integral part of our client's operations.

In this pivotal role within the Crewing Team, you will collaborate closely with the Crew Planner and the Crew Training Administrator to ensure seamless crew operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Crew Planner in all aspects of crew scheduling, ensuring that vessels are manned with qualified personnel across the fleet.
  • Engage with Fleet Managers to arrange emergency cover in situations such as crew illness.
  • Prepare necessary immigration documentation for crew members joining or leaving European sites.
  • Oversee crew annual leave requests and coordinate appropriate cover.

Administrative Support:

  • Track the expiration of essential mandatory certifications for crew members (e.g., ENG1 Medicals, passports, GMDSS GOC/ROC, Master 200/500).
  • Facilitate course bookings for additional non-mandatory training, including sourcing training providers and managing logistics such as travel and accommodation.
  • Provide general administrative support, including updating online databases and maintaining organized filing systems.

Additionally, you will assist with travel and accommodation arrangements as needed, and:

  • Address any inquiries or issues raised by crew members.
  • Assist with various ad hoc tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in crew planning.
  • Possession of a valid driving license.

Working Conditions:

  • Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, with a 37.1-hour workweek and on-call duties during evenings and weekends.
