The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and curating engaging content for our social media, website, and newsletter channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a new communications strategy for the IRC
  • Assist with content creation and curation for our web channels
  • Maintain and update our website and publish our newsletter
  • Provide advice and assistance to other team members
Requirements

The successful candidate will have experience with content development for websites and social media, and be comfortable communicating complex information to a diverse range of audiences. Background knowledge of biology is helpful but not essential.

About the IRC

The EngBio IRC aims to catalyse interdisciplinary exchange between engineering, physics, biology, and social sciences to advance synthetic and engineering biology at the University of Cambridge. Based in the Department of Biochemistry, the role holder will work closely with the IRC Coordinator, Dr. Stephanie Norwood, and other team members to develop, plan, and deliver the IRC's vision and strategy.
