Position Overview

Ensus UK Ltd is seeking a dedicated Senior Project Coordinator to enhance our operations. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a project management professional eager to contribute to a company poised for significant expansion and investment.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Operations Director and will be tasked with overseeing the execution of key investment and enhancement initiatives within the organization. This position requires collaboration with senior management to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, adhering to timelines, budget constraints, and the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute detailed project plans, encompassing scope, timelines, financial estimates, risk assessment, and resource distribution.
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure cohesive project execution.
  • Act as the main liaison for all project stakeholders, including internal departments, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Encourage effective communication and teamwork among stakeholders to achieve project goals.
  • Oversee project budgets, ensuring precise forecasting and financial management throughout the project duration.
  • Identify and implement cost-reduction strategies while maintaining quality and safety standards.
  • Champion a robust safety culture, ensuring all project activities are conducted safely.
  • Guarantee compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and internal policies throughout all project phases.
  • Lead and inspire project teams, providing necessary direction, support, and mentorship.
  • Promote a collaborative and high-performance team atmosphere.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline. A Master's degree or PMP certification is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in managing large-scale capital projects within the chemical, petrochemical, or similar sectors.
  • A proven history of successfully completing projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Expertise in the administration of IChemE and NEC Form of contracts.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and other relevant tools.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
