Position Overview

We are looking for compassionate individuals with a background in healthcare to become part of our team as Perinatal Care Assistants. In this position, you will be instrumental in assisting midwives in providing care for mothers and infants during the stages of pregnancy, postnatal, and neonatal care. It is vital to exhibit competencies that meet national standards, and we offer training to develop the necessary skills within a six-month timeframe.

  • Work collaboratively with the midwifery team to ensure high-quality and empathetic care
  • Support maternal and neonatal care under the supervision of qualified professionals

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications and Experience

Educational Requirements

  • Educational qualifications equivalent to GCSE English and Maths
  • NVQ/Diploma Level 3 or higher in healthcare
  • Completion of Care Certificate and Perinatal Care Assistant Program

Experience

  • Familiarity with hospital patient record systems
  • Prior experience in an acute healthcare setting
  • Experience in delivering high-quality patient care

  • Accurate and meticulous record-keeping abilities
