Position OverviewContract Opportunity - Fraud Prevention Consultant (Remote)
We are seeking a Fraud Prevention Consultant for a contractual engagement. The primary focus will be on formulating strategies to mitigate Money Mule activities while enhancing the bank's security measures. Your role will involve delivering insights that guide modifications to existing protocols.
Compensation:
  • Competitive daily rate of £650
  • Inside IR35
  • Remote work within the UK
Key Responsibilities: As a seasoned Fraud Prevention Consultant, you will:
  • Implement enhancements in fraud management processes aimed at addressing Money Mule incidents.
  • Evaluate and refine the efficiency of detection and prevention systems related to Money Mule activities, collaborating with operational teams and Fraud Strategy.
  • Work closely with the Fraud Analytics team, who specialize in the bank's primary detection technologies.
  • Provide essential data for management information required by governance bodies and stakeholders concerning Money Mule operations.
  • Assist in network and link analysis to identify potential Money Mule activities before transactions occur.

Candidate Profile:
  • Demonstrated expertise in a Fraud Strategy or Fraud Analytics role within the UK Retail Banking sector.
  • In-depth understanding and proven experience with industry-standard fraud prevention systems and methodologies (e.g., Falcon, PRM, Feedzai, Actimize, BioCatch, Hunter, Sira, TSYS Cardguard, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with analytical tools such as SAS, SQL, or similar to create data-driven solutions.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing effective fraud prevention strategies to combat Money Mule activities in the financial services sector.
